Pattaya Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. is one of the prominent leaders in the manufacturing sector of premium quality lingerie and garment products in Thailand. The company is also a key garment manufacturing company within Saha Group, Thailand's foremost consumer, beauty, and fashion products manufacturing conglomerate, extensively serving both the domestic market and customers overseas.

Through its relatively long history of successful operations, the company has amassed extensive skills, experiences, and knowhow, dedicated to top-class manufacturing quality and efficiency. As the result, the company has consistently won the trust of several leading global brands, in entrusting the company to manufacture their products for distribution to international markets. Some of these world-class brandnames include, Elle, Guy Laroche, Morgan, and BSC, among others.

With the coming implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community due to take effect in 2015, Pattaya Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. is poised to assume even greater significant role in serving as the strategic manufacturing base for supplying premium quality lingerie and garment products, to serve both the expanding ASEAN market, together with the increasing by borderless international marketplace as a whole.

COMPANY HISTORY

ESTABLISHMENT

“ Pattaya Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was set-up on October 12, 1975, by joint investments between Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Co.,Ltd., Thai Wacoal Co.,Ltd., and I.D.F. Co.,Ltd., with the registered capital of Baht 1 million and start-up staff of 32 persons. The company was initially located at Building no.2 of Thai Wacoal Co., Ltd., on Sathupradith Road, Bangkolaem Sub-district, Bangkolaem District, Bangkok, to manufacture futon blanket and short products under the "BON" brand. Based on its earnest wish seeking to manufacture Ladies lingerie products of premium quality to serve the requirements of Thai women, the company launched its Ladies lingerie brand of "Kullastri" to the Thai market in 1977.”

MAJOR CHANGES

“ The year 1978 saw the company undergoing major changes to cope with market expansion activities. The company moved to its present address of no. 611/28, Soi Wat Chan Nai, off Sathupradith Road, to accommodate expanding manufacturing capacity, in order to better serve increasing customer's demand, and at the same time, support its penetration into overseas markets, by first exporting its childrenwear and jackets to Switzerland, later expanded to cover other markets in Europe, the U.S., and Japan, respectively. ”

DRAMATIC GROWTH

“ Supported by its management policies to best serve customer's requirements and achieve sustainable growth, the company embarked on continuous products development and market expansion, further setting up its subsidiary company, namely Pattaya Manufacturing Lampoon Co., Ltd. in 1992. In 1998, the company was appointed as the manufacturer and the exclusive distributor for international brands of Vanity Fair, Guy Laroche, and Elle in Thailand, while also representing "Young Way" Lingerie and "Spice Kid" childrenwear. The company later began its manufacturing activities for "BSC" lingerie in 1999. To further promote its manufacturing quality and efficiency, the company implemented ISO9001 and 9002 quality standard practices to its operations, together with WRAP labour standard, to display its commitments and responsibilities towards social, hygiene, working environments, and worker's safety within the organization. Moreover, the company also received several quality certification from various overseas institutes as well. ”

“ As the result of its consistent market expansion driven by products quality and manufacturing efficiency developments, the company further expanded its manufacturing capacity in 2004, by setting up another subsidiary company in Prapadaeng District, Samutprakarn Province, MSB Apparel Co.,Ltd. at Mae sot, in 2010 and Pattaya Myanmar Co.,Ltd., in 2012 . From its beginning until today, the company remains firmly committed to its policies in pursuing manufacturing efficiency, building business value, and promoting competitiveness for the organization, so as to best accommodate the oncoming changes and challenges, leading to its sustainable developments and future in meeting customer requirements in the day lying ahead. ”
